Project Overview

Drawing on the Suffcon Group’s expertise in material composting, Suffcon was engaged to assist with the design and construction of a waste composting facility for We Kando’s operations in Chinchilla, Queensland.

The project emerged from We Kando’s initiative to provide an environmentally sustainable solution for managing waste fluids generated by the local coal seam gas (CSG) sector. By implementing a composting-based recycling process, the facility transforms waste inputs into a usable soil product. The final composted material is rigorously tested against relevant Australian Standards before being marketed and distributed to the local agricultural industry for soil enhancement.

This project demonstrates Suffcon’s ability to deliver innovative and environmentally responsible infrastructure solutions, integrating technical excellence with practical outcomes for sustainable regional industries.
