Project Overview

Suffcon was engaged by the Maranoa Regional Council to deliver the 2022 Flood Recovery Works — a major infrastructure restoration initiative that addressed 8,497 damage sites across 344 roads in the region.

The project required a strategic and highly coordinated approach to material logistics and resource management. It involved the handling of approximately 99,000 tonnes of material sourced form a combination of council-sourced gravel pits and commercial quarries.
Through effective coordination and a strong focus on execution, Suffcon successfully completed the project, restoring essential road infrastructure and enhancing the resilience of the Maranoa region's transport network.
