On the successful completion of Stage 1 of the Mitchell-Bollon Road Construction, Suffcon were engaged in early 2025 to undertake the subsequent Stage 2 of the project. Located approximately 75 kilometres south of Mitchell, Queensland, the project involved the upgrade of a 7.2 kilometre stretch of road network, incorporating a combination of greenfield and brownfield works.

Building on the successful delivery of the earlier stage, Suffcon worked closely with Council’s Project Team to refine the road design and material supply approach for Stage 2 — achieving an effective balance between cost efficiency, constructability and design performance.

The project further highlights Suffcon’s capability to deliver practical, innovative and environmentally responsible infrastructure solutions that support the long-term sustainability of regional industries.
