Diesel Fitter

SuffHire is looking a Diesel Fitter to join our growing team to help maintain our own fleet of trucks and earthmoving machinery, as well as provide diesel fitting services for our external clients.

    • Preventative maintenance including servicing of prime movers, trailers and earthmoving machinery;

    • Execute planned repairs and component rebuilds;

    • Attend break downs, diagnose and repair faults; and

    • QHSE compliance and keeping accurate records of maintenance and repairs.

    • Trade Qualification;

    • Experience working on prime movers, heavy trailers and / or earthmoving machinery;

    • Driver’s licence (HR licence advantageous);

    • Construction Industry White Card; and

    • Must have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.

MC Truck Driver

We are seeking a Multi Combination Truck Driver to support our construction and roadworks projects across Southwest Queensland. Based in Roma, QLD, this role offers long-term opportunities and the chance to work across diverse and remote locations.

    • Operate and maintain side tippers and floats safely, on and off-site.

    • Adhere to site-specific safety procedures and guidelines.

    • Monitor truck performance; report and resolve issues promptly.

    • Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and crew members.

    • Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections.

    • Keep accurate records of daily activities

    • Valid MC Licence (split shift gearbox).

    • Road Train & AB Triple Side Tipper Experience, minimum 2 years.

    • Float experience advantageous.
